Salam to all,

Now that the branch meetings are over, it's back to the division to play their part. There won't be any fierce contesting for the key positions at branch level or at the division level yet we could see that the contest for G7 is still a highly sought after place. Frankly, I couldn't see any good reason for being in the G7 group unless there are so bored staying at home and wanted to witness the general assembly 'live'. I even got one lady in red & white who was hadap to be in the G7 so bad that she denied our wanita meeting but has the guts to ask for our support!

Anyway, the quota issue seems to be at it again! Some say, 'just renew 'sikit2 cukup', so that you won't have any problems with quota and some say, 'tahun ni bukan ada pertandingan pun!'. Whatever it is, thaaatttt's UMNO!! You are able to spend during 'tahun pertandingan' and treat your members whom you only see once a year! but only renew a handful when there's none (contest)? And still worry about quota??

The 3 Who’s

Who’s in? Who’s out? Who’s staying?

Another round of country’s biggest guessing game is back at it again! Frankly, it doesn’t really matter, right? Whoever’s gonna be appointed, I am sure lobbyist will work their way to them or to their cronies and beg for projects and mind you, it’ll not only from UMNOs. So, why all the fuss about? Those suggesting names on who should be in, or out, or stays would want their ‘horses’ to be in, right? The cycle goes on and on and on….

Looking at the personalities of the new MKT lineup we are going to have a hell of a time just to ensure transparencies. For a start, one of the wing’s Chief should take heed and back off to restore pride in UMNO. Second, bring in smarter candidates that can protect our royalties from the legal perspective. Third, put somebody with ‘ba**s’ so nobody can call you ‘celaka’ anymore. Fourth, fifth, sixth, etc…relook at the component parties really really hard. MCA? MIC? WHAT CAN THEY REALLY OFFER?

Let's see what Mr PM will do.

Our future leaders - Part3

How do we know people are telling you the truth? or are they just saying what you like to hear? Well, here in our Part 3 of the 'ciri-ciri pemimpin' are some tips which probably can help us. Happy reading...

1) Cakap mudah difahami, bahasa terang, arahan jelas tidak berbelit-belit.

2) Kesamaan. Setiap orang mudah didampingi, tidak ada tembok pemisah atau terlalu protokol. Pasangan berkahwin sebab banyak kesamaan antara mereka. Mereka nescaya bercerai jika ada banyak perbezaannya.

3) Ikhlas. Walaupun ikhlas terletak di hati dan tidak nampak dengan mata namun ia dapat dirasai. Jika tidak ikhlas seakan ada satu gelombang yang mengganggu perasaan orang yang dipimpin. Kata-kata tidak tajam tidak masuk di hati.

4) The power of service. Cakap hanya perlu pada tempatnya tetapi bertindak semestinya lebih banyak. Allah memberikan kita dua telinga supaya kita banyak mendengar, Allah memberikan kita dua mata supaya kita banyak melihat dan mengamatinya, kemudian bertindak berasaskan pendengaran dan pemerhatian.

Rasanya elok juga disinggung sedikit perkara yang menambah komitmen moral seorang pemimpin berasaskan tafsir lima ayat surah al-Muddassir.

i- Bangun dan beri peringatan. Pemimpin mempunyai kepedulian sosial yang tinggi. Sekiranya di sekelilingnya terdapat perkara menyalahi kebenaran, dengan kuasanya dia akan meluruskannya.

ii- Mesti membasarkan Allah. Pemimpin perlu sentiasa ke depan tetapi jangan mendahului Allah.

iii- Bersihkan pakaiannya. Pakaian luar dan dalam iaitu hati biar turut bersih.

iv- Tinggalkan dosa.

v- Janganlah memberi sesuatu kerana ingin mendapat lebih banyak malah kalau boleh jangan ingat bahawa kita pernah memberi kepada seseorang.
